Toys R Us Opens Stores Again this Holiday Shopping Season

Kids’ favorite Toys R Us opens again at Westfield Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, New Jersey.

Just re-imagine the experience of being a kid again, says Richard Barry, the President, and CEO of Tru Kids. Tru Kids is the parent company of Toys R Us.

The company has chosen another location, the Galleria which will bring in high traffic, says Barry. Children truly missed them last year, when all the stores went bankrupt.

The new store will be different from the traditional store of Toys R Us. It will give an interactive experience to families coming into the store, says the CEO. All companies are trying to reach out to new customers, and we are doing it in our own way, says Barry.

The new store will be fitted with an in-store movie theatre that will be loved by families. A treehouse will also be an attraction for kids. “We are trying our best to reach out to customers by bringing in an interactive experience”, says Barry.

The company has been hiring employees for its store since October, say sources. Soon the company will be starting more stores across the United States.

Two years back, the Toys R Us retailers went bankrupt and had to close down stores. Now, it again re-emerges under Tru Kids, to win back its customers and its large market in the toy sector.

To bring in more traffic, the company has teamed up with Target. Once customers visit their website, they can browse through their products and read through reviews. They will then be redirected to the Target website to complete their purchase.

Toys R Us faced stiff competition from Amazon and Walmart. But the brand name has been purchased by Richard Barry under Tru Kids.

It’s the holiday shopping season again and kids will love to get their Toys R Us products again.
